Services
The services available for a project can be found in the left-hand navigation sidebar below the Project Settings menu.
Enabling a service
Some services will require enablement before use. The enablement process is started by clicking the service name in the left-hand nav. Each service enablement process may vary; please refer to individual service documentation for more details.
Configuring a service
Each service configuration will have a unique Config ID. You will need to provide this ID to make API calls. All settings and configurations of a service will appear as submenu items of the service. The available options for each service will vary from service to service. Refer to the service documentation for more details.
Service Dashboard
Each service will have a service dashboard displayed when clicking the Overview
menu item. Service dashboards will all have the following areas:
Average daily events
This will show the average daily API calls made against this service. If a service has been in use for < 30 days, a 7 day history will be displayed. If a service has been in use for > 30 days and < 6 months, a 30 days history will be displayed. If a service has been in use for over > 6 months, a 6 month history will be displayed.
Total token usage
This will show the total API calls made against a service. It will break down service usage by token. If a service has been in use for < 30 days, a 7 day history will be displayed. If a service has been in use for > 30 days and < 6 months, a 30 days history will be displayed. If a service has been in use for over > 6 months, a 6 month history will be displayed.
Quickstart
The quickstart section of the service dashboard will display helpful quicklinks to commonly access service-specific documentation.
Tokens
Each service page will have a token listing on it. The tokens listed here will be only those tokens that have access to the service in question. A button to view all tokens and to create new tokens is also available. When creating a new token from this area, the token creation screen will have the service preselected.
A unique aspect of this token listing is the ability to designate a default
token. A default token is a token that is used to perform actions against the service from the admin console (e.g., searching Secure Audit Logs). Additionally, the default token will be the preselected token when using the interactive API reference.
