Sensor Types
Pangea AIDR provides visibility and control over AI activity by collecting telemetry through deployed sensors. One of the first steps for new users is to configure and enable a sensor in their environment.
Pangea offers several predefined sensor types to help you get started quickly. To register a sensor, click the + Add Sensor button in the AIDR console sidebar. In the Add a Sensor dialog, select the environment where you want to monitor AI activity:
- Browser - Use the Pangea Browser Sensor to monitor AI activity in managed web browsers (currently Chrome).
- Application - Instrument your application using the Pangea SDK or direct API calls to monitor user inputs, context, and AI responses.
- Gateway - Monitor and enforce policies at the network edge using Kong, LiteLLM, or other supported gateways.
- Agentic - Integrate with MCP servers to observe AI agents executing plans and actions.
- Cloud - Ingest AI-related telemetry from cloud services such as AWS.
- OTel Collector - Use the OpenTelemetry Collector to ingest AI-related events from applications, services, or cloud-based infrastructure.
