Getting Started
Review the steps to configure Embargo
1. Enable the Embargo service and configure a token
The Pangea Embargo Service needs to be enabled prior to usage. Learn more about enabling the Embargo service here. The enablement process will ask you to create a token so that you can access the Embargo endpoints.
2. Enable the appropriate Embargo lists for your needs
Consider the rules and regulations that apply to your product and enable the embargo lists that match your requirements. Review the details of the lists, including list item annotations to help understand the regulations referenced by the item.
3. Test the service
The interactive Embargo API Reference allows users to test API endpoints from the documentation. This is an easy way to check an IP against the enabled lists and see what a response looks like.
4. Integrate the Embargo service into your application
Use the SDK to integrate the Embargo service into your app. See examples of how to do this in the "Using the Embargo service" documentation. If you don't see the language you need, let us know in our
Discourse. In the meantime, use the API Reference to review details of each endpoint.5. Share your implementation
Reach out to the Pangea community on our
Discourse to let us know how you've integrated Embargo into your application. Was this article helpful?
