Secure Audit Log Integrations Overview

Pangea Secure Audit Log supports integrations with external systems for both sending and receiving log data. You can forward logs to SIEM platforms using the HTTP Event Collector (HEC) protocol, or ingest logs from third-party sources to take advantage of Secure Audit Log’s tamper-proofing, retention, and redaction capabilities.

Audit Log Forwarding

You can configure audit logs to be forwarded to an external data repository using the HTTP Event Collector (HEC) protocol. This enables you to consolidate logs collected by Pangea with your existing data for centralized analysis and reporting.

Currently, the Secure Audit Log service supports log forwarding to the following platforms:

  • CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM - A cloud-native SIEM that integrates with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to support advanced threat detection and response.
  • Splunk - A widely used platform for indexing, searching, and visualizing machine-generated data.

Third-party log events

Some external services do not offer advanced audit logging features such as tamper-proofing, long-term retention, or data redaction.

To address this, you can configure those services to send log events to Pangea Secure Audit Log, which provides tamper-proofing, configurable retention, redaction of sensitive data, and other capabilities . This allows you to centralize critical system events across all your services and access them securely under your Pangea account.

Currently supported third-party sources include:

  • Auth0 - A leading identity and access management platform used for authentication and authorization.
