Chrome Collector

The AIDR Chrome collector monitors and controls AI usage in managed Chrome browsers. You can install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

Requirements

To monitor employee AI usage with browser collectors, ensure you have:

• A customer account in one of the supported CrowdStrike clouds:
  • US-1
  • US-2
  • EU-1
• AIDR for Workforce subscription
• AIDR Admin role explicitly assigned to your Falcon user account for the current customer
• Supported operating system:
  • Windows
  • macOS
• Admin privileges on user machines, necessary for updating system-level configuration:
  • Registry on Windows
  • Configuration profile on macOS

Get started

1. Register - Register a Chrome browser collector in the AIDR console and configure policy rules.
2. Deploy - Deploy the extension using Chrome Enterprise, Group Policy, JAMF, Intune, or self-service installation.
3. Verify deployment - Confirm the extension status and data flow to the AIDR console.
