Collector Types

AIDR monitors AI activity by collecting telemetry through deployed collectors. Configure and enable a collector in your environment to start collecting data.

AIDR offers several predefined collector types. To register a collector, click the + Collector button on the Collectors page in the AIDR console. In the Add a Collector dialog, select the environment to monitor AI activity:

• Application - Monitor and control AI data flows within your application using CrowdStrike SDKs or direct calls to AIDR APIs.
• Browser - Monitor AI activity in managed web browsers. Apply security policy on data submitted to AI services. Capture AI-generated responses.

  • MCP Proxy - Integrate with MCP servers and apply AIDR policies to tool descriptions, agent inputs, and MCP server responses.
• Logging - Monitor AI data flows in various environments.
  • Cloud - Ingest AI-related telemetry from AWS.
  • OTel Collector - Use the OpenTelemetry collector to ingest AI-related events from applications, services, or cloud workloads.
